Sabrina

Say hello to our ASE Certified Service Consultant and Service Manager, Sabrina! She is one of the first people you will have the pleasure of meeting here at Wayside Garage. She is a local, hometown girl who was born and raised in Monterey. With her always positive attitude and contagious smile, she is a core member of our team, and that’s not all! She has the knowledge and expertise to get you in and out in a timely matter with service you can trust. Sabrina has spent many years hanging out in the office watching and learning how things work in the office and out in the shop. Don’t be surprised if you see her out in the shop helping with services and inspections, she may be small but she sure is mighty. Come on in and share a smile with Sabrina and a team you can trust.

Jonathan

Jonathan has always been that guy that likes to take things apart, fix them, and put them back together. Just out of high school, he started working on lawnmowers at one of our local golf courses. Maintaining and repairing them so that they could continue to get the job done on the links. Finding that he enjoyed fixing things, he decided to transfer to an auto repair shop and take his skills and work on cars and trucks. His love for cars led him to a job working with European and Import cars. Joining the team at Wayside Garage has allowed him to broaden his talent to domestic, hybrid, and electric cars. He recently became an ASE Master Certified Technician along with achieving the Advanced Level L3 Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist. One of only 3,082 Nationwide! Jonathan has a great personality and is always willing to learn. He continues to keep up with his automotive education so that he can provide proper service and repairs to our customer’s vehicles. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows.

Sam

Since he can remember, Sam has always “fixed” cars. As a kid, he would work on engines with his big brother in the garage at home, taking them apart, fixing what was needed, and putting them back together. As he grew older he committed more and more time to figuring out the ins and outs of auto repair. Sam went right to work at a local Chevrolet dealership as a lube technician and worked his way up to a General Motors certified technician. He continued working in dealerships specializing in General Motors, Cadillac, and Toyota. During that time he took a break from the dealers and started working at Wayside Garage. After 16 years of working in both dealerships and independent repair shops, he was asked to make a commitment to Wayside Garage and has been with us since. With his 25 Year Master ASE certifications and his thirty-plus years of experience, Sam is committed to making an all-around better approach to customer service and auto repair to the industry.

Stacey

Stacey started working in the family business as a teenager helping in the office Over the course of the past 37 years she became passionate about helping others learn and understand the importance of maintaining their cars working directly with her father, she was able to learn and understand the inner workings of the cars they serviced and was able to explain in layman’s terms. After 28 years, her father retired and she, along with her husband, took over the business to continue to serve the Monterey Peninsula and its many generations of clients. Stacey’s passion has grown to include continuing education in the ever-changing automotive industry. Stacey is proud to be an ASE Certified Service Consultant and ASE Certified in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair.

Williams

Williams has been working on cars for over 20 years. He has experience from not only independent repair shops but he has some dealer experience too. Williams is very diverse in his knowledge of cars and trucks. He is always willing to do what needs to be done and learn what needs to be understood to make sure that your car stays running and safe on the road. Williams greets everyone with a smile and his positive attitude is infectious.

Marcus

One of our most experienced techs, Marcus has an enormous amount of knowledge. From carbureted engines to today’s electronic cars, his understanding and ability to test and repair vehicles are infinite. Marcus has been a smog-certified technician and inspector, he has also been an ASE Master Certified Technician. In his free time, he loves to work on his Datsun cars and enjoy his children.

Alan

Our ASE Certified Master Technician and Tech Mentor is Alan. Alan has a long history of transmission repairs and maintenance along with Chrysler dealer training. As a Master ASE Certified Technician, Alan understands that we need to pass on our knowledge to the younger generation. It is because of that mindset, Alan is an avid lifetime learner. Alan also is one of the 3,082 ASE L3 Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist Certified Technicians, nationwide!  With a passion for the automotive industry and a love for all of the Wayside Garage family, we are proud to have Alan as part of our team.

Brandon

Meet Brandon! Brandon is new to the automotive industry but not new to taking care of people. As part of the Wayside Garage family, Brandon started as a client so he understands the value and importance of taking care of your car. Coming from the high-end golf industry, Brandon knows what is needed to take care of our awesome clients. As he continues his education about the automotive industry, Brandon will be at your service for shuttles, concierge service, and quality control of your vehicle. Shelley McDonald

Say hello to Shelley! Shelley may appear to be a new face to you but she has been with our family for years. Shelley is your girl when it comes to customer service. She loves to touch base with you after your service and will help you keep your car in the best running condition by confirming your pre-set maintenance reservation. Shelley is a Salinas native and loves her family, her animals, and her trucks! Shelley takes pride in caring for you and your car.

Jacob

Jacob is passionate about both cars and technology. A perfect fit for our technologically advanced service and repair facility. Jacob is one of our local guys. He enjoyed growing up in Marina playing baseball for Marina Pony Baseball and Marina High Baseball. Along with his love of cars, Jacob loves his dogs. He has a cute little Frenchie named Otis and an English bulldog named Purple Rain. Stop by and meet Jacob. He will greet you with a smile.
